Maxauca Temai, lovingly and respectfully known as Nana Salud, is the spiritual guide who leads this traditional ceremony. Her path with the Wixárika tradition began through a deep spiritual connection and the guidance of a Marakame, who welcomed her into his heart and recognized her commitment to the path of ancestral knowledge. Through her discovery and relationship with Hikuri, she developed a profound connection with the teachings, the land, and the ceremonial path of Wirikuta.
